The laser proximity fuze has been widely used in the field of surface to air missile, air to air missile, etc. Battle environment for ballistic missile is complicated and tactical request is strict, so laser fuze equipped for it needs some special indices.The features of the different kind of FOV (field of view) configuration in the laser proximity fuze, with detecting target, and the cost of manufacturing in missile are discussed. So a laser proximity fuze scheme for ballistic missile is designed applying multiple advanced technologies, including microlaser, high sensitive detection component, optimal background suppression, target detection and signal processing with anti-interference.A novel method of returned laser proximity fuze detection using four-quadrant detector was presented. In order to improve the power of detecting weak laser fuze signal, the key is digital signal processing of weak laser proximity fuze signal. The common methods often verdicts interference signal as useful single so affect efficiency of laser proximity fuze. In this paper, a method which composed of wavelet transform and matching filter was used to analyze those echo signals.The aim of simulation research is to provide effective guidance for scientific design and performance evaluation of laser detecting system. The simulation modeling is presented aiming at certain laser proximity fuze detector system. The laser echo power formulation and photo-electricity transform model are analyzed. The simulation of laser proximity fuze detecting system is carried out based on these models. Ultimately, the models mentioned are proved effective by detecting sample experiments. The simulation aiming at certain typical detecting target can deduce that the laser proximity fuze detecting system can realize target identification exactly and distinguish targets with different figure by the difference of echo waveform. With this model a simulation software was built to operate the simulation of laser proximity fuze system.Results show that numerical simulation call help scheme designing and performance improving of the laser proximity fuze system.
