The friction torque of ball screw is a comprehensive mechanical performance indexdirectly reflects its processing quality, design parameter and performance, accuratemeasurement and in-depth study of friction torque have vital significance to raise ballscrew quality and develop new products.The paper is completed with the engineering project "Technical reconstruction of ballscrew dynamic friction torque mearsuring system" of HanJiang Tools Company. Theauthor designs the measuring and control system with modularized hardware and software,so that the system can fulfil the requests of product quality inspection, control andManagement in factories.The friction torque meter designed in this paper uses IPC(Industrial PC)-invertermotor controlling mode to control the principle axis. IPC controls inverters via 14 digitalI/O port and 2 AO port of PCI1716 card, and Single-Chip Microcomputer combines withIPC by parallel communication to control the system, so the digital software control isrealized in the principle axis control system.Technical reconstruction of ball screw dynamic friction torque measuring system iscomponent by strain torque sensor and PCI1716. The principle of both ball screw dynamicfriction torque measuring and data acquiring is analyzed in the paper. The data measuringand acquiring circuit design and signal filter design is completed. The data signal offriction torque is analyzed by histogram, Mean-standard deviation of control chart and FFTin frequency domain. The improvement way at the performance of ball screw frictiontorque is given.The paper develops operating software of measurement and control system. Themeasurement process is controlled and the data is processed by operating software, whichis able to display and save friction torque data and dynamic curves, inquire about historydata and print report form.The practical application of ball screw dynamic friction torque measuring systemproves that its performance conforms to the requirement and has passed the approval. |
