Aiming at the study of general test bench of miniature ball screw travel error and friction torque in the background of the national science and technology project” Research on General Technology and Capability of Testing of Functional Components”(2016ZX04004007).The research can meet the requirements of the mechanical industry for the urgent need to carry out research on the miniature ball screw,and fill in the data gap in the performance measurement of the miniature ball screw.First,the main measurement parameters are clarified,two general test bench design schemes are proposed.Taking into account the convenience of operation and the accuracy of the measurement data,the scheme is to design two test benches,the headstock,the tailstock and the body part are common parts and the measuring platform with different measuring functions are designed,and the air bearing guide and the steel guide are respectively selected for the platform.The design requirements of the test bench mechanical system,measurement and control system and geometric accuracy are proposed,and the key components are selected.Secondly,detailed mechanical structure design are carried out for the general part of the headstock,the tailstock and the body parts of different guide structures,including belt drive,gear transmission check,steel guide life calculation etc.For the friction torque test bench,the measuring platform and the arm tooling are designed.For the travel error test bench,the measuring platform and the error compensation device for improving the measurement accuracy are designed.Then,according to the requirements of the measurement parameters,the measurement and control system are designed for the test bench,including hardware design and software design.The design of the hardware part is mainly to establish the connection between the upper computer,the control module and the measurement module.The software part uses the VB language to program the host computer and introduces the functions of each module.Final,the overall accuracy of the travel error test bench was analyzed.The test bench calibration items,data measurement methods and data analysis methods were developed.The initial test was carried out on the test bench.After the measurement,the repeatability of the two test stands was good,and the measurement data was evaluated for uncertainty.The development of the test bench in this paper has certain reference value for the research of miniature ball screw.
