Hunan Highway Toll Station Design

With the rapid development of China expressway network, peoplepay much more attention to expressway's apartment work, the function oftoll station building is becoming more and more important. However, dueto various objective reasons, planning and construction of the expresswaytoll station have not kept up with the pace of road networks' developmentand people's gradually increasing material and spiritual demand. Inaddition, planning and design of the toll station building is still merelybased on qualitative analyses because there is a lack of theoretical basisdue to limited research on expressway toll station.This thesis focuses on problems related to the design ofexpressway's toll station building. It explores the means of planning withregard to selection of the toll station, planning and designing of the tollstation, layout of functional management storey, and environmentalelements, etc.The thesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter one, the introduction,briefly explains the background of choosing the topic, the present state ofstudy, the method of study and its significance, and some conceptionsrelated to toll station. On the basis of analyzing the various factors inspace chapter two analyzes the proper location selection, layout of tollstation and its scope control. Chapter three studies the designingprinciples of toll station building, mainly the management storey, andsome measure on energy-saving, and designing demands of someapartment work, including toll island and shed, by means of words andpictures. Chapter four, introducing the designing of space environment inexpressway toll station, including architecture, open space, environment greening, and facilities in it, and bring up the specific measure to improvethe environment of toll station. Chapter five studies typical designs fortoll station in expressway. Chapter six, the summary, summaries thewhole thesis in light of evaluation of the present means of study and ideason research directions in the future.
