The fault diagnosis system can reduce the cost of devices maintenance, keep the security of manufacture and increase the use of devices. In traditional fault diagnosis method, analog signals collected from sensors are often simply preprocessed by means such as enlarging, filtering or conversion of analog-to-digital and then the data are send to fault diagnosis center for information extraction and fault diagnose.But,many jamming and noise would be produced in the process of coversion of anolog-to-digital and transmission of signals. To get more accurate analysis result, the accuracy and the reliability of the data after sampling and transmit process have to be guaranteed. The method to solute this problem is to preprocess the data in scene. Therefore, the data must be preprocessed before fault diagnosis.This paper has presented a thought that combining the preprocess technology and the ARM chip based on RISC frame and embedded Linux operating system, and worked with the software design and hardware debugging. Embedded system focuses on application and bases on computer technology, and its both software and hardware can be cut out freely. Embedded system is the professional computer system which can meet on various demand of system, for example function, reliability, cost, volume and power waste. Embedded real time operation system (RTOS) is used in this thesis. The preprocess technology includes mainly digital filter, filling in missing data, analysis of out liter and data conversion. And the preprocess technology, mainly digital filter was used to filter the data after conversion of analog-to-digital to further filter the noise which did not filtered in analog filter. By this mean, the noise and jamming can be filtered rapidly, reliably and comparatively accuracy can be abstained. Improve the purity of the signals and establish a good foundation for later information process and fault diagnosis. A toolbox of digital filter was built in this paper which has several methods of filter to choose for the need of deferent equipments and different environments.This system adopts the popular industrial level ARM processor chip, which is easy to control and process. It was not only largely raised the collection speed of data, but also properly filters the signals after conversion of anolog-to-digital.By this mean, signal jamming and noise were excluded greatly and decrease the data to transmission, raise upload speed and make the fault diagnose more accurate and rapidly. Simulation experiments showed that the collection system was reliable and meet the expectation of design.
