It is urgent affairs to promote modernization of housing industry, improve the quality of housing building and bring along the renewal of building materials, because of the serious unconformity between house building style and it's demand.Fabricated and board formed lightweight steel dwelling is a new system of steel structure, whose components are manufactured in factory and fabricated conveniently on field. It has a bright future in our country by reason of it's speedconstruct and excellence in environmental protection. It's framework is self-support, different from most of other lightweight steel dwellings. This paper is mainly on the research of the load path, material select, structure analysis, and joint constitution of this system. It concretely includes:1. The structure system is ascertained by making sure the load path and selecting the right steel section.2. A new simplified analysis method is used to analyze the structure and is checked up.3. The whole of this system's joints is designed considering it's speedconstruct and analysis presumes.4. A three-dimensional model of a 2-storey is established and calculated using FEM software.5. Results of simplified method and FEM method are compared, and it is proved that the simplified method is a safe method to analyze this structure. Economic performances of this example are analyzed, which gives us a guide to optimize the whole system. This research indicates that: system of fabricated and board formed lightweight steel dwelling is a lightweight steel structure system that of safety, speedconstruct and economy. The simplified method is safe and convenient method, and can be used in designing at present.
