With the developing of engineering technology and upgrading of people's live, lightweight steel residence is more liked by people and more welcomed by market. Absorbing the superior of the lightweight steel residence in use, the paper research a new type structure system of lightweight steel residence—a structure system combined by light gauge rectangular tube-like column, light gauge H sections steel beam and Lightweight shear wall, 3L structure system for short.3L structure system is made up of light gauge members on the base of safety, the column is light gauge rectangular tube-like column, the main beam is light gauge H sections steel beam, and the junior beam is curling cold-formed C sections steel. Lightweight members is used in light load structures, it is easy to construct. Because tube-like members and H sections members have good behavior in stress, 3L structure system can fit for long bay and long span buildings, and can also reduce the steel level. The paper introduce the characteristic from array of structure, bearing features, structure swing and steel level sides.Lightweight shear wall is an important member resistance to lateral load. It is made up of curling cold-formed C sections steel as keel and fibred cement plate as covers. Lightweight shear wall use curling C sections cold-formed steel to constrain the fibred cement plate, it can reduce the ratio of longer and shorter sides of lightweight shear wall, and increase the ability of shear and compression in plane of the fibred cement plate, so it can make lightweight shear wall have strong stiffness in plane. The paper analyses the lateral stiffness of lightweight shear wall in use of material mechanics and structural mechanics, and verify the result by lateral stiffness test of lightweight shear walls, determines the lateral stiffness formula, advices the design method. On base of above research, the paper attempt to apply finite-element method by ANSYS program to determine the coefficient in the formula. From research above, the achievements include as follows: the paper introduce the stress features and specific destruction mode of lightweight shear wall, indicate the stress distribution of the fibred cement plate, open out its deforming mode, deduce its lateral stiffness formula and raise a design method.Socket joint of beam and column is one technique of 3L structure system, it is design for facility of system constructions. It is used in the joint of columns, it connect the columns and also connect the beams and columns. It use blind-bolt, a new developed bolt, to connect column and itself, the blind-bolt can make the joint rigid, and so make the system have good behavior in stress. The paper analyses the stress of the six deferent wall thickness, deferent aperture and deferent constitution joints in method of finite-element by ANSYS program, indicates the influencing factors of its bearing capacity by contrast. By researching the rigidity of a joint, the paper gives the stiffness level of the joint to beam, table proposals of design and constitution.
