Embedded system is the special computer system which the bottom hardware, the RTOS (real-time operating system) and the application software are united. It has been used in the field of control, consumer electronic product and etc. It has been one of the most important research aspects of the electron field.Ultrasonic dental descaler is a kind of medical device in common use. Its principal application is removing plaque and calculus from teeth. By studying the definition and measure ways of the primary indexes of ultrasonic dental descaler's survey, analyzing the present measure status and researching idiographic implementing methods, we design a new measuring way which based on embedded system.This paper introduces the ultrasonic dental descaler measuring system using the LPC2132 embedded ARM as core processor which based onμC/OS-II RTOS, and we also study the total design of the system and its detailed realization.On the aspect of the hardware, this paper firstly analyses the application of ARM in the system. Then it introduces the structure and characteristic of LPC2132 chip and systematically studies the total design of the hardware system and gives the detailed solutions. This paper emphasizes on introducing the design of minimal system based on LPC2132 chip and the detail hardware circuit design of each block, including the module of automatic follow amplitude resonance point, temperature measuring module, frequency and amplitude measuring module.On the aspect of the software, this paper firstly introduces the place of vector table, the initial of the stack and especially analyses the purpose and realization of scatter loading. The analysis of startup-code is based on LPC2132 chip. Then this paper discusses the advantages and essential characteristics of theμC/OS-II RTOS and analyses the condition of replanting it to a kind of hardware platform which must be done with the chip we choose. Combined with the demanded work of choosing chips, we give the detail process of replanting. Finally through extendingμC/OS-II, a simple RTOS is built.Our research proves that the ultrasonic dental descaler measuring system based on LPC2132 microprocessor and μC/OS-II RTOS has the characteristic of low cost, high real-time, can be replanted and so on. It has a very good applied value.
