Comparing with the ground-based radar, the airborne radar owns obvious advantages such as the broader beam radiative area and better flexibility. But when the airborne radar detects the moving target on the ground or the sea surface, it will receive the clutter which is even stronger than the target. So the airborne radar must deal with the more complex detection environment than that of the ground-based radar. The dissertation theoretically analyzes the airborne radar's signal processing and researches the real-time signal processing of the airborne radar based on the 4 TIGERSHARC series' DSP.At first, the dissertation introduces the principles of the pulse compression and analyzes the character of the Linear Frequency Modulation signal. Secondly, it simulates the pulse compression system and analyzes it by contrast with the two results. Thirdly, it analyzes the characteristics of the airborne radar's clutter and introduces a method for the clutter cancellation. In the end, it interprets the theories of the moving target detection (MTD) and constant false-alarm rate (CFAR).The hardware system is made up of 4 chips of ADI company's TIGERSHARC series' DSP. Three of them are assigned to be responsible for pulse compression. In order to share the mission of the left and save the transmitting time, the DSPs above are also responsible for the data compression. The last one is responsible for the data decompression, moving target detection, clutter cancellation and CFAR processing. By comparing the results of the system with the simulation, the dissertation proves the algorithms and its program is right and feasible. The dissertation also introduces some popular methods for the real-time signal processing and summarizes the experience which is useful for improving the speed. For the large amount of data operations and storing, reasonable arrangement of the processing and perfect distribution of the hardware resource are needed. By the rational arrangement for the hardware and the optimization of the operation and assemble program, the dissertation assures the real-time signal process of the airborne radar.
