Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, the research works on design and process technology of mix-integrated power module based on LTCC technology are focused. The applications of LTCC technology in power module and transformer fields are briefly reviewed, then a case of LTCC mix-integrated power module is mentioned and its design and process technology are researched.In this paper, we firstly design a 25W fly-back circuit topology, and debug the circuit in PCB layout independently. Then, we develop a design method for switching power transformer based on LTCC technology. It resolves the traditional design method for transformer doesn't full suit for LTCC transformer design. According to the method, we design the LTCC transformer based on the circuit. With the simulation tools, we can judge the work point of transformer, coupling coefficient and temperature, and optimize the electrical and structure parameters of LTCC transformer from the simulation result. As the result, we think the coupling coefficient of transformer is a key point and difficulty in LTCC transformer.In this paper, the LTCC processes are introduced detailedly, and the special reaquirments of LTCC mix-integrated power module in LTCC processes are pointed out.At last, we research LTCC mix-integrated power system design from the results of circuit and transformer design. We try to manufacture LTCC mix-integrated power module, and analyze the experimental example. According to the experiments, we discuss the result and defect of this paper and give the suggestions in next work.
