Container Station Information Systems Research

In recent years, the rapid development of Ningbo port container logistics and supply chain related to container units rapid development. Container yard as an important link in the supply chain, the depth and breadth of its operations have been stepped up . With ports informationization developing , the management system of container yard sets new requirements . The proposed container yard integrated information management system provides the internal container operation management, external information dissemination and sharing of information resources with a complete container yard solutions.Chapter I briefly describes the development of international and domestic container transportation and logistics development of Ningbo port, and thus raises Ningbo container yard developments. Chapter II outlines the basic concepts of container yard , and detailedly describes three aspects of the yard operational flow , the container yard management,the container freight station management and the truck management. IT analyses problems of current phase and informationization technology requirements of ports from the history of development of the container yard information management system .Chapter III puts forward specific building design and the realization of the idea about the container yard integrated information management system . First, it discusses in detail the contents of the system functional modules, and analyses the structure and features of system . Second, from the use of the technology , it discusses detailedly the three-tier structure, J2EE framework, GPRS communications, GPS positioning, enterprise portal, network , security ,and so on.Chapter IV describes advantages and limitations of the current container yard integrated information management system , and explores briefly the future development and direction of research.
