At present, the safety evaluation of the road often is built up the traffic accidents of the road. It is difficult that the safety of road has been evaluated effectively before the reconnaissance, design and construction of road. The main research content is to build up the Driving Simulator Scene and carry on valid research to the security of the road through the subjective and objective response of drivers who drive the simulator on the virtual road.At first, this paper has introduced the traffic accidents' severity in China, and analyzed the correction between road alignment and traffic safety. From this we can find road alignment has a great influences to the traffic safety, in which some are direct, and the most are indirect. Road alignment through misguiding to drivers can make them have wrong judgments, which result in traffic accidents. In this paper we have a example of Kun Da Xian (original 320 national highway), in which we have analyzed the relation between road alignment and accidents.Then we have reviewed and analyzed the domestic and overseas safety evaluation of road , in the second part this paper analyzed relationship among the alignment, the auto movement parameters include speed and lateral acceleration and the traffic safety in detail. Through analyzing we can find curve is the important factor influencing traffic safety in all kinds of alignments, especially the driving speed and lateral acceleration of curve have a great process to accident happening. And the road geometric design's good and bad that directly affect the vehicle is the speed. And that the speed also is the important factor that the influencing the lateral acceleration and the side friction factor.In the third part this paper uses Visual Basic to work out the side friction factor software that can simply evaluate the safety of the road and educe conclusion. The aim is to analyze the relation between the side friction factor of running velocity and themaximum side friction factor and the side friction factor of design velocity and the side friction factor on the watery road. Except these the software can also get the side friction factor of driving simulator's operate speed and lateral acceleration. Then through analyzing the data after test in chart, we can get the danger spot and radius of road. On the basis of which we have a simple safety evaluation.In the fourth part this paper uses lateral acceleration standard deviation along road and the formula αy < ΔCmax × v2 - ΔC × v2 to evaluate the section of K38~K60 of An Chu freeway , at the same time uses the side friction factor of trial operate speed and the maximum side friction factor to evaluate the road. At last find that all of these evaluation methods can get the same conclusion.
