The Research Of Safety Evaluation On Monotonic Highway

The road safety audit is one of the important means to prevent effectively and reduce the traffic accident. It is in terms of highway users to find the potential factor of the traffic accident in appraising the project of the highway. Doing it accident can be prevented before it happens, personnel and property loss can be reduced to the greatest extent.This text relies on the road safety audit project of Haizi Mountain to Zhubalong of national road 318; it looks for the suitable highway safety audit method for high and cold mountain area. The article draws lessons from the safety audit method of the expressway and grade I Highway in "Guidelines for safety audit of highway". The characteristic of the high and cold highway of mountain area is combined at the same time to explore a kind of appraisal system which is suitable for the montanic highway. This system is the first application in Haizi Mountain to Zhubalong safety audit project, and it has made the good result.First of all, in understanding the foundation of the safe and non- safe concept, the necessity of carrying on highway safety audit and domestic and international current research situation are analyzed. The research content and approach are established to give this thesis a good localization through analyzing and researching the current situation.Secondly, to carry on the montanic highway accident morphological analysis. According to the cause analysis of different traffic accident morphological, the characteristic of montanic accident can be found; the accident type initiated because of factor of the road can be pointed out. Thus during the process of establishing appraising method, these road factors can be paid more attention to.Moreover, the construction of running speed safety audit method. Based on the principle of driver have the almost the same judgment of a certain road section, the running speed safety audit is feasible, the running speed safety audit method is proposed here. At the foundation of sufficient research on the achievement of the domestic and external, the running speeds forecast models are constructed in 5 different kind of highway sections (straight line section, slope section, curve sections, curve and slope section, bridge and tunnel section) to analyze the potential accident; to divide the grade of traffic safety and to design the traffic safety devices.Finally, an instance analysis adopted the running speed safety audit method of this text is carrying on in a section of Haizi Mountain to Zhubalong of national road 318. including the highway section divide, running speed calculate, running speed harmony analysis, running speed with design speed harmony analysis, the potential accident audit , the safety grade divide, etc. The running speed safety audit method can be understood and the defect can be found thoroughly through the instance analysis. In a word, security appraisal is a technology of controlling the system loss, the process of appraising raises the safety management level, it is a safety management method which reflects from passive to active, from treatment after the accident to defending before the accident, from experience to scientific security office procedure.
