Less-lethal weapons has been greatly developed and widely used in actual combat today. They are very valuable in military actions and law enforcement, and also can be used in antiterrorism action. Less -lethal weapons have become an important supplement to normal lethal weapons and their actions are not allowed to be ignored. On the basis of full understanding of the research situations of electrical weapons both domestically and overseas, combined with light weapon technology, the Less-lethal weapon "stun gun" is studied systematically. It was designed to temporarily incapacitate a target through the use of an electrical current, which temporarily interferes with the body's neuromuscular system. It has a long action range and can ensure the security of the users. The action mechanism of the stun gun is analyzed in detail and the scheme design of the stun gun system is completed. With the SolidWorks software, three-dimensional model of the system has been constructed. The characteristics of the interior ballistics of the proposed scheme of stun gun are analyzed and the corresponding interior ballistics model is proposed. The numerical computation of the interior ballistics is also conducted. According to the functions of the electrical module ,the circuit is designed and the security and reliability of the system is analyzed. At last, the test scheme of the system is proposed and some experiments are carried out which validate the feasibility of the designed system.
