With the fast development of urbaneconomy, people prone to the diversification,level to the quality of urban life and environmentalquality requirement further. Since the eighties ofthe 20th century, in order to improve theenvironment of doing shopping of city, spuredeconomic development, the build of urban shoppingpedestrian mall has become a loud focus of urbanconstruction of our country already. The shoppingpedestrian malls have developed more than 20 years,and have accumulated a large number of experiencesucceeding, but there are some insufficientexisting. This thesis was designed for the researchobject with the interface in the shoppingpedestrian malls, since the eighties of the 20thcentury, three main cities in area of the South--The main shopping pedestrian mall of Shanghai,Nanjing, Suzhou are the research range. Through tothe analysis in influencing factors such as nature,history and culture and behavior that the interfaceof shopping pedestrian mall is designed,etc., thethesis probed into the ins and outs interface, sideinterface and space shape formed after the twosurround to shopping pedestrian mall, summed up andsummarized from respects such as the development,thought, characteristic that are designed,etc.Finally, the thesis made every effort to accomplishthing practically or summarize successfulexperience, point out weak point too. To the insufficient place, the thesis proposed discussionand suggestion, offered the theoretical foundationdrawn lessons from for the construction of the urbanshopping pedestrian mall of our country in thefuture.
