By analyzing the situation of Power Quality Monitor home and abroad,aiming at the problems being failed across during monitoring electric systems,Power Quality Monitoring system is studied and developed on VI(Virtual Instruments)in this thesis.The design scheme for a composite electric quality monitoring system based on VI has been introduced briefly, and the measuring algorithm for the electric quality index is also been introduced. The DataSocket technology is employed for the web communication between the forward data sampling units and the home server. At last, we have developed a new technology for the establishment of the data related in the system referred above.As an important section of the power quality monitoring process, the property of being in real time and ability for data sharing are concerned, which are the key factors determining the reliability and efficiency of the system. Depending on the excellent communicating ability of VI, the data obtained by forward data sampling units will be transmitted to the home SQL server far away in real time. We can use the Web server technology to realize the data sharing inside the network, namely the data are always available for any Internet points.In addition, we have paid much attention on the DataSochet technology to realize the free visit of data in home server under VC compile environment, by which the basic quality index and alarming information can be dated and displayed in real time on certain instruments. Due to the use of database technology for data storage, the ability of data processing is improved greatly. In view of the historic data storage and real time display required by both forward data sampling units and remote home server system, the home and remote databases are integrated to form a synthesis system.The composite power quality monitoring system based on VI presented in this paper is more suitable for the bulk electric system compare with the traditional...
