Vehicles On The Road The Role Of Dynamic Load Study

The vehicle dynamic load caused by road roughness is the main reason of fatigue and premature failure of the pavement In order to comprehend the characteristics of pavement dynamic response under dynamic load and offer the reliable reference for the pavement design; the theory analysis and number simulation are made for vehicle dynamics caused by road roughness. First, road roughness is simulated in frequency and time domain, and some vehicle models are established for the study of vehicle dynamic load. Time domain models of different ranks pavement are used as input, the effects of vehicle velocity and mechanism parameter on dynamic load are simulated through MATLAB. Some valuable theoretical foundation could be provided for the further study of the pavement dynamic response.
