Vehicle Power Bench Test And Evaluation Methods

This paper analyzed the transmit line of the engine and pointed that the power parameters testing by the Vehicle chassis dynamometer just were the absorbable power but not the output power of the engine, when adopting the output power of the drive wheel as the target and testing through the vehicle dynamic property test. In order to evaluate the output of the engine more accurately, it need analyze the parts of waste power separately. This paper chose the CA1046L2 as the testing vehicle, tested the engine on the test bench and the whole vehicle on the vehicle chassis dynamometer; adding reverse dragging system to test the internal resistance waste power, tested the tyre rolling resistance waste power under load, at the same time analyzed and researched the automobile drive system waste power, on the basis of testing data, this paper founded the model of Vehicle dynamic property test and verified the model. This paper has explored the method for the vehicle dynamic property test, the results can be reference for improving the vehicle dynamic property test.
