Imaging guidance is a main developing branch of precision-guided technology. So the research on vision system, its bionic technology and its application on the imaging guidance are significant. The achievement may cause a tremendous alternation on the guiding head's structure of imaging guidance missile. It's also benefit to the obtaining and processing of targets' image information. Target identification also may achieve approving result. The research result not only can be used in the imaging precision-guided weapon with intelligence, but also can be used in many kinds of imaging detectors and robotic vision systems. The applied prospect is preferable. In the report, some topics on vision bionics and its application are discussed. They are as follows.1. The present research state and development of infrared imaging processing, infrared guidance, vision and its bionic technology, multi-sensor image fusion are summarized. From the point of view of vision physiology and psychology, the vision establishment and some particular physiological mechanisms are expatiated.2. The application of vision bionics in the design of intelligent imaging guidance missile is discussed. Some kinds of intelligent guidance schemes are devised. An intelligent infrared imaging guidance scheme is proposed, the basic frame and particular model of primary vision with selective attention mechanism are given. An intelligent imaging system based on the central-peripheral model, which is sampled unevenly, is designed. A schematic diagram which can be implemented easily of two-waveband intelligent imaging guidance system is devised. An intelligent imaging scheme based on the excellent characteristic of binocular vision is proposed.3. Design a two-waveband (visible light, infrared light) vision bionics test-bed by reference to two-waveband intelligent imaging guidance theory and intelligent imaging scheme based on the excellent characteristic of binocular vision.4. Analyze the characteristic of infrared imaging guidance contrasted with visible light, study the imaging guidance theories. Work over and improve on the CAMSHIFT tracking algorithm emphatically.5. Realize the CAMSHIFT tracking algorithm on personal workstation, and analyze the experimentation results.6. Make a summary of the works for this paper, and discuss the next work of vision bionics on theoretic research and engineering realization.
