Expressway Asphalt Pavement Maintenance Management System

Expressway maintenance management system is generally composed of database , performance evaluation , performance prediction , maintenance & rehabilitation strategy selection and so on. Based on the present practical situation of expressway pavement maintenance management in China, a systematic and scientific pavement maintenance management software system is put forward in this paper. It uses the fuzzy sets to evaluate the pavement performance. It also uses the dynamic parameters self-adapting and self-tracking method to predict the future performance of pavement.Pavement performance evaluation and prediction are the mostly research contents in the paper. The model theory of the performance evaluation from structural capability, spoiling condition, riding quality, safety performance and combined evaluation is studied. The paper also studies the factors that direct to the deterioration of the pavement serviceability and some important performance prediction models.In this paper, improving subentry-synthesis model of pavement performance evaluation and dynamic parameters self-adapting and self-tracking method of pavement performance prediction are developed basing on the reality that LiWen expressway is short of historic data. Moreover, network design, software selection and system framework of LiWen expressway maintenance management system are described and analyzed.Finally, the principal conclusions are summarized and the developing advices in the future are expounded.
