Because of lack experience of design, integrator and application most of them are not working ideally , specially under the metro environment. The shortcoming are instability, expensive cost of running and control imprecise.This paper introduces the design of electric machine control system of metro , based on PLC controller. The electric machine control system is high technique and reliability depended on the correspondence technique. So it id advance system in China and the developing of this system can result in good benefits and social benefits. The whole paper divides into four parts. The first part the development of the environment control and technique of metro. The second part describes the electric machine control technique, include control object , system function and control network technique. The third part describes the hardware design , include controller , network device, sensors etc. The fourth part describes the software design. It introduces controlprinciple of ventilation system and data transfers.This system has been debugged and been running in guangzhou metro no.3. The performance of system has been satisfied the customer. It works stably and reliably.
