Geocell, Engineering Properties Of The Flexible Retaining Wall Centrifuge Model Test Research

Geocell is a new type of geosynthetics, at present it has been applied in every field of civil engineering. Using centrifugal modeling test, the paper analyses the deformat characters and destroy process of flexible retaining wall, a kind of new style retaining wall made of Geocell, sums up the common characters of horizontal displacement in wall back and destroy characters in different wall width and reinforce layer space, and analyses destroy mechanism of the wall. In addition, using MARC program, the paper analyses the deformat characters of flexible retaining wall in centrifugal modeling test, discusses the plastic areas in the system and validates the results of centrifugal modeling test.
