In this paper, a new kind of ecotypic retaining wall, which is called geocell reinforced soil wall, is introduced and then studies. On the basis of large-scale direct shear test, as well as local measurement at 319 national highway in Xiamen and numerical analysis with 2D- finite element software, geocell reinforced body strength designation companied with earth pressure on and hirizotal displacement of wall's back and face, together with vertical stress on and settlement of foundation base are put forward and studied. As a result, the designing method of geocell reinforced soil wall comes into being. In the end, a further design is made on the former designed geocell ecotypic retaining wall. |
