Cardiovascular parameters, such as parameters of cardiac function and peripheral vessels, were changed even at early stage of cardiovascular diseases. To reduce or control the events of cardiovascular diseases, it is fundamental to monitor cardiovascular parameters frequently and study the relation between the development of diseases and alterations of these parameters. Therefore, the development of the cardiovascular moniter, which is able to assist the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, will have practical meaning and bring economic benefit.In this paper, the design and realization of a multi-channel, non-invasive and convenient cardiovascular monitor were introduced. The paper mainly include following aspects: Firstly, the design scheme of the entire system and measuring methods of cardiovascular parameters were put forward. At the same time, the clinical meaning and analyzing algorithm of the cardiovascular parameters were briefly illuminated. The monitor measuring cardiac function and cardiovascular parameters non-invasively was realized including hardware and software. Parameter analyzing system was also developed. Clinical data were sampled by the monitor. Then thecharacteristic points were identified and the cardiovascular parameters were calculated. The values of cardiac function parameters were compared with the values from ultrasonic cardiac output monitor synchronously. The results showed that this system has satisfactory repeatability and accuracy. Then, the reliability of the system and the results of cardiovascular parameters were discussed. Finally, a prospect for further research is proposed.
