To meet the developing technological requirements of stage curtain in modern stage mechanization, a new stage curtain design method is put forward. We just start with the configuration of the multi-purpose stage curtain, and analyses the chained slice. It will supply a gap of nation and reach international level if the technology being put into use.Detailed analysis, calculation and explanation are focused on the key techniques: interference between the bisect and haul, and the chained slice. In the practical process of calculation and explanation, the reverent problems concerning the analysis of chained slice by using the finite element analyze software ANSYS. The analysis and calculation are also done when the choice of the corresponding components in the system is considered. In addition, some comparatively definite planes are drawing up for scheme of multi-purpose curtain. And some tentative exploration, analysis and explanation about stage equipment designing.At last, the FEA software of Adams and ANSYS are mentioned, and some advice on how to use them in the stage equipments design and analysis is given.
