After introducing the development situation and background of electrical motor test system, this paper presents the R&D process of a new electrical motor test system based on PC and Data Acquisition Card and its T-n test module.This paper expatiates the design of peripheral test and control circuit based on Hysteresis Dynamometer, Data Acquisition Card and PC. It introduces the application of PCI1202 and ACL7120 Data Acquisition Card. After that, it compares the PID control and fuzzy control theory based on a mass of experiments and finally found out that the fuzzy control fits the need of the test system better.Reactive power is an important factor of modern electrical power system which always has many harmonics and works with unsymmetrical load. Meanwhile, 3-phases motors are always not symmetrical 3-phases load. After a lot of research and simulation of the reactive power theory, this paper gives a reactive power test arithmetic based on the theory of instantaneous power and the definition of load' s equivalent phase voltage in non-sinusoidal unsymmetrical system. This test arithmetic can be applied in not only symmetrical, sinusoidal electrical systems but unsymmetrical, non-sinusoidal ones.As regard to the requirement of modularization, virtualization and GUI within modern electrical motor test systems, this paper develops the electrical motor test system software by use of Borland C++ Builder under Windows environment.
