Based On Gsm Smart Vehicle Locator

With the development of car industry, research on car position system becomes a new item and its foreground goes more and more bright. In this paper, a new car position system which bases on GSM network is researched. Compared with other products, the system adds a cheap and effective assistant position circuit, has an intelligent guard against theft and alarm circuit, while it can transmit position info and help car supervising by SMS.Firstly, the paper describes the development of car position system, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of common methods, and put forward a new advanced design scheme. Then introduces the work principle of GPS, to overcoming the disadvantage that somewhere trees or building are very exuberance GPS can not be available, this paper proposes an assistant position system. The realization of transmitting information by SMS, the detailedly hardware design including the power circuit, GPS module supported circuit, GSM module supported circuit, guard against theft circuit and the software design are also carried out in the paper.Experiment results show that the system is stable, and the assistant position system works well. The position system has a promising market.
