Abstract/Summary:
The structure damage prediction is one of the important part in the whole city damage prediction under earthquake. The most popular method used in RC structure that takes the yield shear coefficient as the resistant index ,then the relationship between the mean value of ductility rate and the resistant index is built by analyzing .The structure damage state is classified by the mean value of ductility rate ,which is taken as the damage index. There are so many available kinds of method, the above is one of them. At the same time, the difference between the methods need to be studied deeply. This paper has been done about it.In this paper, firstly, the research status is reviewed. The damage status is classified differently not only because the study is carried out from different angle and the different object, but also the damage index including many kinds of parameter ,such as, the distortion, the energy dissipation, the stiffness, and the period. The five damage states classification used popular they are :None,Minor,Moderate,Srvere,Collapse. The object is including element, story and the whole building. Traditionally, the whole damage state can be get from the mean value of element and story.Eight damage index with the classify criterion used popular in china were calculated and analysised.Finally,a method to calculate equivalent ductility were provided to calculate damage index.In this paper, three R.C frame structure model response under dynamical load were get, and classified the story and the whole damage state according to the eight damage index. The results show that:Under the same structure and the dynamical load, by using different damage index, the results of structure damage prediction diversely. The uncertainty of structure damage prediction because of the different index is small on the condition that the dynamical load is lower or stronger, and more serious under middle dynamical load. let's take five degrade classification for example, the damage result of the whole building can vary from grade 1 to grade5,enven if the same result in the same story , the damage result of the whole building were varied largely. They vary from grade 1 to grade3.
