This dissertation firstly introduces the basic inception of underground pipelines and presents the kinds of pipelines, illuminates the type of pipelines network system according to the kinds of underground pipeline graphs. Such as integrative pipelines network system and profession pipelines network system. Then according as the general situation of the integrative pipelines network geography information system of Zhu zhou city, narrate the basic inception, produce, development and constituent of GIS, point out that GIS includes hardware, software, data and talent. hereinto I do some concrete classification and compare contra posed hardware and software, which can use in the realization of practical system.According to the practical system that need improve, I simply introduce software architecture and demonstrate its essentiality of software design, model, descriptive way. Architecture style is experienced summarization of architecture, is one of the most valued production of software engineering practice. The most important and familiar one is layered architecture. Then I introduce and emphasize two-ties client/server , three-ties client/server and browser/server, which develop with the software and hardware technology improvement. According to the concrete situation of practical system, I compare the difference of the above three and make a conclusion that three-ties client/server architecture can use in system improvement practice. Above conclusion can apply for this type GIS and have applied value.According to the improved system of Zhuzhou integrative pipelines network GIS,I detailedly enumerate some system applied basic function, stressed demonstrate - system initial interface ,enter pipelines database, delete object operation and explain these source code. Then I sum up the improved system, illuminate its default, and present the way that can use to improve system in future.
