Research On The Communication And Software Of The On-Line Motor-Experiment Of The Electrical Net-Lab

With the development of Internet, Distance-Education has become the trend of education in now days. As the graduates of any University or Institute, they must attach importance to their experiment, so we have to keep the pace of our time to develop the experiment system in Distance-Education. On the other hand the web-control is also the direction of evolution of the household appliances in the future. So the Net-Lab do has its significance.Thinking of our practicality, our Net-Lab will based on the traditional structure of C/S (Client/Server), but this C/S structure would have 3 or more than 3 tiers. First the Work-Station who do the real experiment; second the Server who deal with all the net work; and at last the Client who wants to do the experiment on-line.This paper mainly discussed the part of the on-line experiment of Motor. The Motor Experiment is the most important one of Electrical Engineering Education and also has the priority to be included in our Net-Lab. This project can be divided into two main parts: the software and the hardware. The software part include two segments: the Client Part, which could be downloaded, installed and manipulated; and the other is the Work-Station Part. Besides, we consider equipping a Data-Base to the Work-Station and applying the Visual Basic as our programming language.
