On-line performance monitoring and operational optimizing system is of great importance for economic operation in power plant. The technology about ANN, immune algorithm and expert system, applicated in this kind of system is studied in detail. This dissertation consists of six chapters.Chapter 1 gives comprehensive description about the reseach work and the current research status. The research orientation of this dissertation is also given.Chapter 2 studies the preestimate and validation method of measured data based the ANN technology. Time delay ANN model is used for the measured data that is relative to computed value. In this model, the measured data correlative with the preestimate data is input and the preestimate data is output. This model is very rude but need much time to compute. Recurrent ANN model is used for the measured data that is only inspected in the system. In this model, the history data of the preestimate data is input and the preestimate data is output. This model is simple and has a rapid computing speed. Measured data is averaged to be sample data.Chapter 3 proposes a hybrid algorithm based on the integration of immune algorithm and tabu search algorithm to solve the unit commitment problem. The principle of immune algorithm and tabu search algorithm is presented in detail. The duration of operation status is encoded to form antiboby; the search scope is a unit set of which unit status is varible in optimal combination of single period; recurrence micro-growth rate is used for distributing load among units. Tabu search algorithm as one step of immune algorithm, improves its local searching ability and enhances its astringency.Chapter 4 discusses the development of the condenser fault diagnosis expert system with CLIPS. The typical faults symptoms of the large power-station halving-style condenser are abstracted and the symptoms set are completed. Also the fuzzy subordinative function and the production rule are studied. Based on these studies the rule base is developed and packed into a dynamic link library for windows operation system.Chapter 5 presents the development of on-line performance optimizing system based on the intranet in power plant, and proposes the way of the simple ActiveX component with complex small application to solve the download problem of complex ActiveX component in client.The last chapter summarizes the main research conclusions with which this dissertation concerns. The prospect of further research work is also made.
