This thesis is to program and research on the software package called Integrated Bridge Engineering Computer Aided Design System (IBCADS) that has a good many functions such as data edit, bridge constructural design, bridge structure calculation, design and analysis, checking computation, engineering drawing, statistical processing, engineering cost and budgetary estimation, design documents organizing, other assistant tools and so on.The IBCADS software is programmed with Visual Basic programming language, and is achieved by using of ANSYS(software of calculation and analysis), 3DSMAX (software of perspective drawing), AutoCAD (software of engineering drawing) and the finite element structure analysis program inside. The main contents of IBCADS are as follows:Data edit: multi-documents edit, key word(s) leading data input.Structure calculation: include the static, dynamical and flection stabilization computation of bridge' s superstructure and the substructure. In static computation, the loads include deadweight, prestressed, concrete' s shrink and creep, foundation' s sinkage, active load, wind power, influence of automobile braking, temperature changing, friction load of the bridge bearing and so on. Modal analysis and the internal force calculation of earthquake load are considered in dynamical part.Construct design: bridge constructural design in 3D, perspective drawing.Design and analysis: loading combinations, section steel area calculating, earring capacity computation, section stress checking, deformation and crack width checking and so on.Engineering drawing: engineering drawing of the bridge, and the drawing of main parts of superstructure and substructure in detail.Assistant tools: the load distributing in transverse section of the bridge beams, bridge deck design, section characteristics calculating, the loss of the prestressed reinforcing steel bar estimation, the shink and creep factor of concrete calculation, statistical processing, engineering cost and budgetary estimation, instruction documents organizing and so on.The system can be used in the whole process of bridge design. Besides the function of improving the design efficiency and quality, it will also promote the development of the automatization and intelligence of bridge engineering design.
