The development of modern aviation expounds high capability demand for airplane's landing gear,the design of airplane's landing gear deals with more and more ranges of engineering science ,and it becomes more and more difficult. By doing stress analysis of a axle airplane's main landing gear and experiment studying, the paper can provide some useful value to the design and study of airplane's landing gear.The topic first illuminates the significance about a axle of airplane's main landing gear and other parts. The paper presents the basic theory of finite element method in detail . And it adapts general engineering FEA software system ANSYS. And it introduces the facilitation preprocessor, loading and solution, general postproc of a axle of airplane's main landing gear. According to the six different loading process of axle, it adapts ANSYS software to do numerical simulation. Then it does large amount of analysis to the calculation results. 11 draws a rather reliable conclusion, and it provides a theoretical reference for the experiment of the stress distribution of axle model .At the same time ,we have done electric experiment according some loading process. And we campared the ANSYS numerical calculation results and the experiment results. It offers a rather ideal method for the correct of finite element modeling. The study has definite theorical value and practical meaning.
