Highway Traffic Engineering System To Set The Scale Of Research And Evaluation Methods

Based on the development and the future of expressway construction and requirement, the author conducts in-depth research for several problems in the field of expressway traffic engineering in China in this paper. The contents include the structure and function of expressway traffic engineering system, the design method, the construction and development direction, the setting fundamental and scale in control system, toll system and communication system of expressway traffic engineering, and the system evaluation method in expressway traffic engineering. Besides, as reference, in this paper, the author analyses for the difference of expressway traffic character in different areas in China, and researches for the adoption standard in allusion to expressway traffic capacity in different areas.
