Contemporary Large-scale Chemical Tanker Technical And Economic Analysis

Chemical tanker means ship carrying dangerous chemicals in bulk. It is a kind of ship of advanced technology and high value and one kind of ships that need urgent investigation and manufacture in our country. Given the dangerous cargo, there are some special character both in design and manufacture of chemical tanker. So it is necessary to study the technology economics character of chemical tankers roundly and thoroughly.Based on the national great project-----The 3rd, 4thgeneration chemical tanker comprehensive technology economics analysis, the thesis carries out research in technology economics character of contemporary large-scale chemical tankers.There are three main parts in the thesis: i) The thesis review the history of chemical tankers, and expound the characteristic of four generation of chemical tankers. The thesis also describes the classification of chemical tankers and the status of chemical tanker fleet. In the 7th chapter, the trend of chemical shipping is made.ii ) The thesis does the research in mathematics modeling based on chemical tankers' data. Firstly, the mathematical model of chemical tankers' primary dimension is established by statistical regression method. Secondly, RBF neural network is introduced for mathematics modeling of ship and the difference of two methods is compared too.iii) In this part, the thesis introduces 45000 DWT chemical tanker built by Dalian Shipyard and evaluates the performance of this ship using National Criterion (GB11697?9) .Then, the basis theory of system evaluation is expounded. After study the feasibility of the method named "fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on AHP", the thesis applies it to evaluating seagoing ships.In the last part of the thesis, some research worth making is pointed out.
