High Pressure Jet Grouting Pile (HPJGP) is a developing pile type, and playing more and more important role in infrastructure construct ion. In this paper, the engineering properties of HPJGP are studied in a systematic and comprehensive way.1.The pile mechanism of HPJGP is studied first. On the basis of this, the piling technology is expounded comprehensively, and s< me measures adopted in encountering unusual situation are set forted.2. A great number of data of compression strength of HPJGP cement-soil briquettes are statistied and analyzed, and the distributive scopes of the compression strength in different stratum are obtained. On this basis, the mean value of the compression strength and the theoretical value of pile carrying capacity are gained.3. On the basis of analyzing a great quantity of test data of load capacity and high strain dynamic testing, the measure values of HPJGP composite foundation capacity and pile ultimate bearing capacity are obtai'ned. The capacity can meet the needs of high and heavy building.4.According to the settlement analysis method, the settlement theoretical computation of HPJGP composite foundation is made. It can be found that the practical settlement is very small compared with the theoretical values. So the safety of buildings can be ensured using HPJGP.In this paper, a large number of practical measure data and engineering examples are presented, and the studied achievements have important values in popularizing and applying of HPJGP.
