Grouting pile, which has the advantages of easy to construct, noiseless and economy, has been used to reinforce the roadbed of Hangzhou-Qiandaohu highway . In recently years, theoretical research of grouting pile composite foundation has been fallen behind engineering practice. Based on former research, this paper carries on analytical research on bearing character of grouting pile composite by means of theoretical analysis and finite element analysis, puts forward the calculation method of the bearing capacity and settlement of grouting pile composite foundation. The main works is listed as follow:(1) The reinforcement mechanism of grouting pile composite foundation is researched on the based of the character of its own by compared with the reinforcement mechanism of the other kinds of pile.(2) On the base of the way of the bearing capacity to exert of grouting pile composite foundation and the character of the pile , bearing capacity formula of composite foundation is amended to adapt grouting pile composite foundation .And the extend of exertion coefficient of bearing capacity is got by analyzing the result of static load test.(3) The pattern of distortion of grouting pile composite foundation with a capping plate on the top is put forward on the based of its own distortion character. By use coordination equation and equilibrium equation the formula of settlement of grouting pile composite foundation under the embankment is deduced with elastic theory , which is validated by practice project.(4) The effect of length of the pile , pile replacement ratio , elastic modulus of pile on the settlement of grouting pile composite foundation is analyzed by the Plaxis FEM software and the method advanced by this paper. And then the method advanced by this paper is validated by comparing result of the two methods.(5) Effect of capping plate and grouting on the settlement , Skin Friction, pile shaft force, position of neutral point is analyzed by the Plaxis FEM software.
