After having analyzed electromagnetic flowmeter technology development status and trend, using new MCU and computer hardware & software technology and field bus technology to develop intelligent flow measure instrument & system based on CAN bus is presented. In order to meet system' s needs, enhance system' s opening, reliability and communication function, CAN bus technology is applied to flow measure & system for the first time. In hardware realization, puts forward programmable excitation technology. At the same time tiny signal amplify, V/F conversion, scale automaton switch and CAN communication interface are analyzed and designed. In software development, a new thinking that reference Windows message-driving programming design thinking to establish MCU system software architecture is presented, under its direction, set up this item' s software development architecture, and designed software functions module.In chapter 1, look back electromagnetic flowmeter development history, summarized its technology development trend and application status, introduced field bus instruments' characteristic, development trend and role. At last, according to electromagnetic flowmeter technology development status and trend, demonstrated that it is necessary and significant to develop intelligent flow measure instrument & system based on CAN bus.In chapter 2, electromagnetic flowmeter basic principle and CAN bus basic technology is introduced. In allusion to CAN bus technology characteristic, researched and analyzed technology criterion, message transmission, frame structure and CAN bus interface electric connection mode.In chapter 3, according to this item application and consumer demand, summarized system design tasks and rules, researched some of the system' s key technology, put forward programmable excitation new technology, built system development architecture and analyzed all modules' function and its role.In chapter 4, according to system design tasks , rules and total precept, some of important hardware circuits , tiny signal amplify, V/F conversion, programmable excitation technology realization, scale automation switch, CAN communication interface and anti-interference , are analyzed and designed.In chapter 5, after having explained the work principle of Windows message-driving , a new thinking that reference Windows message-driving programming design thinking to establish MCU system software architecture is presented. Under its direction , built this item' s software development architecture, and designed software functions module.In chapter 6, system integration and test.In chapter 7, the main conclusions of this dissertation are summarized and the future research work is put forward.
