Ocean is an important object of geoscience research. Wave is one of the most important parameter of the numerous oceanic parameters , how to measure the wave is very important also.This dissertation depicts how to design an instrument to measure wave height of ocean wave based on the principle of ultrasonic detection. This is the initiative research in China , the method is also novel . The main parts of this dissertation are the principle of ultrasonic detection, circuit design of the instrument and design of the software . Based on these elements , we made a prototype instrument , then calibrated it indoor and tested it outdoor . The prototype instrument has been successftilly in all of the experiments . I am sure we can make a formal product which is in accord with the request of oceanic measurement. |
