This paper discribes the preliminary investigation on radiolysis behavior of methylhydrazine(MMH), ?-hydroxylethylhydrazine(HEH) and acet-hydroximic acid(AHA) in Co-60 Y field. The main results are list as followed:(1) The effects of varying concentrations of MMH, HEH, AHA, HNO3, UO22+ and Fe3+on radiolysis behavior of MMH, HEH, AHA at the absorbed dose of 50 kGy have been studied in detail. The results show that the radiolysis degree of MMH, HEH and AHA decreases with the increasing of their concentration. HNO3, UO22+, Fe3+ accelerate the radiolysis of MMH, HEH and AHA. When Fe3+ and UO22+ coexist in the MMH-HNO3 system, they accelerate the oxidization of MMH significantly.(2) The effects of varying absorbed dose (10-500kGy) on the radiolysis of MMH, HEH and AHA in the system of HNO3, UO22+ and Fe3+ have been studied. The radiation stability of each system is determined as well.(3) The compositions of radiolysis products of MMH, HEH and AHA have been determined. Some of the radiolysis products are detected quantitatively or qualitatively. The probable radiolysis mechanisms are discussed.(4) The amount of HN3 generated by irradiating of MMH, HEH and hydrazine has been determined. The results show that a small amount of HN3 is detected in MMH and HEH system. The mechanism of HN3 generating is discussed.
