The development of civil engineering technique makes it possible to design and build large and super large structure. The FEM (finite element method) is one of the important numerical methods in modem engineering design and analysis, so the FEM structure analysis software is used to make numerical analysis in the processes of engineering design. The corresponding HPC(high performance computer) resource, effective algorithm and advanced software programming method, however, are also needed to make analysis on large and super-large complex structures. The conflict can be resolved by the parallel compute, but two questions exist at the same time. Firstly, the related high rank parallel software is so scarce that the parallel computer can only used by the professional programmer. Secondly, the paralleling computer is so expensive that it can not be used widely. Though the net and Internet provide the basic environment for the sharing of the distributed net HPC resource, the corresponding exploring environment of the parallel application software facing to the application field can not be used practically.Since the object oriented method is recognized as an effective method of the complex software system programming and the DCOM (distributed component object model) has established the good basis for the distributed object technique in the net environment and become an effective method in constructing the distributed paralleling system, so the FEM (finite element method) paralleling computation based on the DCOM has a better future for applicatioaThe idea of the paper is as follows. Firstly, by combining the modem computer software technique(object oriented component program design method) and the FEM method of the civil engineering structure analysis, the application frame design of the object oriented paralleling FEM is explored and under research in the structural analysis field of the civil engineering which has important influence on the national economic. Secondly, one FEM paralleling application system in net environment based on DCOM is realized. Finally, a parallel solver of the linear equations has been developed successfully. The content of Ihe paper is as follows. (1) A object oriented FEM system structure is designed and realized. (2) The object oriented FEM paralleling application frame is constructed (3) A FEM paralleling computational system based on DCOM is designed. (4) A paralleling solver to the linear equations in net environment is realized.
