As one kind of effective numerical analysis method, finite-element method has been being used extensively since its capability of handing complex problems and its well-known reliability. With increasing level of computer software and hardware, the software packages based on this method work up to merchandizing ones. But most of them are universal serial program designed in structured programming language. To classical serial finite-element method, it's patently obvious that the program execution implies parallel mechanism. For example, independent elements can be analyzed on different processors at the same time. The more the element number is, the more time it will save when solving the overall system, and its efficiency will be higher. For the purpose of improving efficiencies and reducing the input, there is profound significance to study parallel finite-element analysis method. For a dozen of years the study and application of parallel computation in electromagnetic field are progressive deepening. This Thesis means to give much more principles for structuring parallel finite-element calculation architecture. In the presence of one kind of common magnetic chuck model, the writer combine with MPI, and compile finite-element programs based on substructure algorithm in object oriented programming language, and then achieve the parallel finite-element analysis of the magnetic chuck on computer. In addition the problem of load balancing has been solved. This thesis begins with the electromagnetic theory related to the example, and then introduces the basic electromagnetic theory and its numeric routine procedure briefly. Upon this, the article makes a full exposition of the parallel computing technique, referring parallel computer system, parallel algorithm, performance parameters, and parallel finite-element computing technique. Afterwards it exhibits the composition and flow of the finite-element program. The paper conclusion also points to further approaches.
