Research On Integrated Interactive Dfm Technologies Related To The Mechanical Product

Design for Manufacturability (DFM) methodologies are widely used in modern product design. By making a synthesis of the current DFM techniques, Integrated Interactive DFM (I~2DFM) related to mechanical design is proposed and its computer aided system is developed. The main contents and achievements of this paper are described as follows:⑴The requirements of mechanical DFM are analyzed and addressed. The framework model of I~2DFM which meets the requirements is then introduced, and the key techniques of I~2DFM are deeply discussed.⑵Information types, data sources and storage manner in I~2DFM are deeply analyzed. The information models are established with IDEF1X method, including the data classification model, the case model, the manufacturing resource model, the processing method model and the document model. An information integrated system based on the scripts technology is designed.⑶In view of the application characteristic of I~2DFM, Textual-CBR technology is adapted to realize the intelligent DFM. Several techniques are concentratively researched, including case authoring based on the directed graph, similarity assessment using the maximum common subgraph, similarity revising based on user feedbacks, target case instauration based on domain semantic network and information retrieval.⑷Based on Pro/Engineer platform, the architecture and functional model of I~2DFM system are designed, the key techniques of the implementation methods are analyzed and the prototype system of I~2DFM is accomplished. In the end, the conclusion and application effects of the system are sumerized.
