Metal corrosion existed in modern industrial may cause great economic loss and social harm, therefore, corrosion detection technology is of great significance.In order to study the Electrochemistry Noise (EN) technology and Electrochemistry Frequency Modulate (EFM) technology, several experiments are carried out under different conditions. An EN test is taken on the surface of ventilation duct installed in a nuclear power plant. Another EN test is taken in high temperature (293℃) water in order to estimate the performance of the new electrochemistry sensor. In the simulated marine environment, four kinds of constant potential tests are taken to detect the corrosion status of marine construction.The testing results indicate that the EN signals can reveal the actual corrosion status of the nuclear materials effectively; the EFM technology has a good prospect of application in metal construction corrosion detection in marine.A distributive corrosion monitor & detection system based on DSP is established according to the special demands of electrochemistry test methods and the feature of industrial field. The system which can take multiple measuring methods for corrosion detection is consist of electrochemistry detection sensor, Zero Resistance Ammeter, Constant Potential Rectifier, Signal Generator, Data Acquisition Unit, Micro Control Unit, internetwork communication module, and the Upper Monitor. An EN test experiment is carried out in the simulated marine environment, the analyzed EN data indicate that the system is in working order. An EFM test experiment is taken with electrolytic cell equivalent circuit, the acquired EFM data wave forms indicate that the running of the operating system is normal and the design of EFM measuring software is correct.
