Abstract/Summary:
With the development and engineering applications of reinforced block masonry structure in recent years in China, the theory of reinforced block masonry, which meets the characteristics of construction industry in China, is summed up. This theory has obvious advantages in the structural integrity, and the insurance of construction quality, also this system provides a theoretical basis and technical conditions for higher buildings, and so, it is an important subject of theoretical research to break the height restriction in the Code at this stage.Since the development of concrete block technology in China, the blocks with the width of 190mm were widely used in the reinforced masonry structure system before. With the construction of 100m high-rise building construction projects put forward and adaptation to the needs of multi-functional layout, a thicker wall is needed to solve capacity problems. Therefore the blocks width of 240mm and 290mm should be studied. These kinds of blocks are different from the 190 blocks, and they are called 240 blocks and 290 blocks for short. Compared to 190 blocks, a significant difference of 240 and 290 blocks is the difference of hole ratio. The proportion of the grouted concrete increase with the increase of the hole ratio in reinforced masonry, so its influence to the standard compressive mechanical properties needs to be carefully analyzed and researched. In order to investigate the standard axial compression mechanical properties of 240 and 290 blocks masonry, 17 240 hollow-block masonry specimens, 6 290 hollow-block masonry specimens, 26 240 grouted block masonry specimens and 10 290 grouted block masonry specimens are applied, and the mechanical properties of these specimens including the destruction of shape, the early split load, ultimate load, elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio, and stress-strain curve, are obtained. Compared with the experimental data of 190 blocks of test, the compressive strength mean formula for the test of 240, 290 hollow-block masonry and grouted block masonry is corrected. The largest contribution coefficient of grouted concrete is also corrected, and the relationship between the compressive strength of grouted block masonry and hole ratio is obtained. In addition, in order to solve the test method for strength of non-standard block, the compressive strength comparison about 2 / 3 high and 1 / 2 high blocks with the standard height blocks with the same batch by cutting method is researched. The results show that cutting method is an effective method for detecting the compressive strength of bond beam blocks and cleaning hole blocks, and strength correlation coefficients are 1.57 and 1.69. Proposal to continue with a large number of comparative study for this coefficients is put forward, so that to make the complete product testing methods available.
