Research On Village Planning Based On Industry Upgrade

With the rapid development of rural economy, villages are undergoing changes from the traditional settlement engaged in solely agricultural production to the mixed village engaged in agriculture, industry and commerce. Concerning the diverse and complex modern villages, village planning proves an important means to build the"new countryside"and the study concerned thus is of more and more practical significance.Based on rural economic development, this thesis explores the impact factors, process and features of rural industry upgrading against the background of industry upgrading and discusses the planning projects and key points for villages of different types of agriculture.The thesis consists of four parts. Firstly, after the survey of theories and researches as to industry upgrading and village planning at home and abroad and summary of domestic and foreign research results, the thesis tends to study village planning from the holistic, cross-cutting perspective. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the impact factors, process and features of industry upgrading, discusses the influences of rural industry upgrading on village planning, which are highlighted in village layout, construction land adjustment, public facilities, ecological environment protection and rural housing construction. Thirdly, as to villages of different agricultural developing models, the thesis claims industry development planning as the core of village planning manifested in industry development, functional layout, transport system, public services, infrastructure, ecological landscape, and housing construction. As to the industrial chain, the thesis discusses the planning methods and priorities for different villages engaged in agricultural production, processing and market, against a comprehensive upgrading background. Finally, selecting villages in Suzhou as a case of empirical study, the thesis explores the theoretical application of village planning.
