Study On The Highway Safety Design System

Highway is the basic infrastructure of a country's economic and national defense structure. Recently, with the rapid development of our country's economy, we have got a remarkable achievement in the highway development. The highway traffic safety affects not only the basic function of the road, but most importantly the safety of the travelers on it. The high ratio of the traffic accident is caused partly because the factor of the travelers, and more importantly caused by the design of the highway. The highway design should under the guidance of "people oriented and safety supremacy". The safety should be pay attention to in all period of the highway design to improve the safety and service level of the road.Combined with the practical items of the highway between Lanzhou and Haikou, this thesis analyzes detailed the status of the highway safety design, the content and meaning of the study. The thesis also described a new concept of highway safety design, including the proposing, development and importance of it. It also discusses the theory, process, method and the main results and the comprehensive treatment measure of the Lan-Hai highway.The general design of the highway line affects the traffic safety straightly. The content and evaluation of the safety design in general route design are discussed in this thesis.Through the theory study and practical observation to the actual project of the thesis, the theory of humanization and dynamics and systematize is put forward. A new concept of highway safety design is wished to be formed through the effort of the author.
