Abstract/Summary:
Turbine generator for fuze, a kind of special physical power source for fuze, with high efficiency transformation, well and stable performances, it can meet the requirements of modern radio fuze and electronic time fuze, and it becomes one of the important trends in the development of fuze power source. In foreign country, the turbine generator has already been successfully applied to mortar projectile, rocket projectile, bomb and howitzer, but in domestic, it can only be used in mortar projectile for the problems of withstanding high-g and high velocity of projectile. In order to the use the turbine generator in howitzer and rocket projectile, the withstanding of high-G and high velocity of projectile are studied in this paper.In this paper, the research is based on turbine generator for mortar fuze. By means of experiment, strength checking and finite element analysis(FEA), the unreasonable of upper bearing assembly structure, force method for lower bearing and shaft lever of rotor which are the reasons for the turbine generator can not withstand high-g have been found, therefore some improving design have been done, the simulation and experiment show that the improved turbine generator can be withstand 18,000g overloading.The meaning of withstanding high velocity of turbine generator has also been expatiate, here the method of limiting spin rate is used to resolve the problem of withstanding the high velocity of projectile, of which there are two methods to limit the spin rate, one is to increase the magnetic reluctance moment, and the other is to design a reasonable internal flow field by the theory of aerodynamic, decrease the drive moment of turbine. The methods of inlet channel of laval nozzle and smaller area of vent hole have been put forward to limit the spin rate of turbine generator. Simulation calculation and 1 projectile internal storing test of real firing show that the improved turbine generator has the capabilities of withstanding high-g and high velocity, and it also suitable for generally use in mortar projectile, rocket projectile and howitzer.In this study, the problems of the withstanding of high-g and high velocity of turbine generator have been resolved, the mortar fuze turbine generator can also been used to howitzer electronic fuze, the favorable condition of serialization blue print of fuze power source used to mortar projectile, rocket projectile and howitzer has been created.
