Specially, it introduces the structure, work principle and program language on PLC.Base on this background, this paper studies on an alteration that the withstanding voltage and insulation test device based on PLC. It is to realized to use resource fully and satisfy the requirement of produce. It is needed to change the withstanding voltage and insulation test device which is used to be. This device is used to control only one test implement. Now it is improved to control two tested implements. According to the requirement of product line, it is very well to control the relationship between them. In this way, it is not only to save the working hours, but also retrench the cost. And then it is to increase the product efficiency. In order to satisfy the system's performance-criteria, the F PLC of Mitsubishi PLC is used because of its excellent high ratio of performance to price, small cubage and tending to install, which has found its extensive application in PLC control systems.The test operation has proved the good reliability and real-time which has proved the design requires and the economic efficiency.
