Lightweight aggregate used in construction of the last century had been in foreign development and application development of our country late in 1956 began to study the production, now used widely abroad, ceramic wall materials products in China's northeast to shale-based ceramic, clay ceramsite mainly in Beijing, Tianjin region and the southern coastal city of. In this paper, metallurgical processes for the research group in the vanadium in stone coal produced by leaching of vanadium slag as the main raw material in testing we can see this stone coal slag with a low-carbon, high silicon, phosphorus-rich, low-aluminum, high melting point and other characteristics of the preparation of construction materials, high-quality raw materials, while the stone coal cinder as the main raw material production of construction materials has a significant feature of light to meet the lightweight aggregate wall materials development needs, so the development of its firing of the ceramic used in construction and general brick two aspects of research on stone coal resource comprehensive utilization of vanadium residue has an important significance.In this paper, stone coal cinder, clay and other raw materials of chemical composition analysis, phase analysis, designed for the use of stone coal cinder brick fired ceramic and general provide a theoretical basis, results show that the stone in the main chemical components of coal cinder and clay raw materials closer to and therefore can be used as ceramic and fired brick main raw material used in construction. Also analyzed the chemical composition of the main raw material for ceramic firing stone coal cinder role in the process, ceramic pore formation mechanism, combined with stone cinder ceramic performance tests to determine the main factors affecting the expansion of ceramic raw materials in the chemical composition and firing system, and the particle size in determining the ratio of raw materials, the study into the blank plus water, drying system performance, the impact of dry green body into the blank plus water, sintering temperature, holding time, clay, ash and other right-ceramic performance, the impact of the main parameters optimization was conducted after a comprehensive validation test, firing out the density of 776kg/m3, cylinder compressive strength of 2.1MPa, water absorption of 7.5% of the stone cinder ceramic products, has reached the national standard GB/T17431-1998 excellent product standards.Similarly, general building and firing stone coal cinder brick conducted exploratory pilot study on the particle size in determining the ratio of raw materials, the analysis into the blank plus water, clay, ash, sintering temperature and holding time and other properties on the brick influence, thus to be stone coal Preparation of vanadium slag bricks used in construction of a viable general process parameters as follows:clay, ash:10%; into a billet water content:28%; sintering temperature:1100℃; holding time:4 hours; the largest grain diameter:≤0.5mm accounted for more than 70%, and the maximum size of not more than 2mm, and the election under this process is derived from performance testing conducted sintered brick, water absorption and saturation coefficient reached a non-serious clay brick and weathered zone fly ash brick requirements, MU10 meet the standard compressive strength, drying sensitivity coefficient and linear shrinkage also satisfy the requirements, are qualified products.
